  • Ladies, if the only lifting you've done lately involves your coffee mug, grab a pair of cute little 2-pounders. If you’ve been rocking regular workouts, 5-pounders are your friends.

  • Gentlemen, if couch-surfing has been your main sport lately, start with 5-pounders. If you're a regular gym warrior, go for 10-15 pounds to keep things interesting.

Oh, and don’t forget your yoga mat! If yours vanished in the closet clutter, Walmart or your local dollar store has your back for super cheap.

Are the classes suitable for beginners or those with injuries?
